Professor V. Chepelyk headed the studio after the leadership of people's Artist of Ukraine, the USSR State Prize Winner, Taras Shevchenko National Prize Winner professor M. Vronsky in 1994.
     The programme of teaching drawing, sculpture and composition is built on the realistic points taking into account the national traditions and the best achievements of the world academic school.
     V. Magalyas and G. Lysenko teach in this studio which trains experts in all genres of sculpture. The students get practical skills in sculpture, drawing and composition, stone and metal processing and wood carving.
     The tasks of the teachers are - to develop skills of a young author; to help him master figurative means, to learn appropriatenesses of plastic form building, to study self figurative thinking, to get the complex of knowledge from the history of world and Ukrainian art.
     Making a diploma work - sculpture composition or portrait is an important task taking 1 year of preparation. The work must confirm, creative individuality of a student, his lever of the possession of the technical means etc.
     The students show their creative activity: take part in competitions, exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The best students continue studying at post - graduate departament.
