At the Academy there is the post-graduate course and assistancy and work on probation, where are trained teachers of art and architecture of high qualification.
     At the post-graduate course are trained such specialists as:
17. 00. 05 - painting;
18. 00. 01 - theory of architecture and restoration of architectural monuments.
     The activity of assistancy and work on probation course is directed at training of high-qualified specialists in such fields as:
painting;
graphics;
sculpture.

     Scientific and creative guidance of post-graduate students and assistants-probationers is carried out by such famous scientists, doctors of sciences, professors as: L. Milyaeva, Z. Moiseyenko, V. Makukhin, M. Yakovlev, V. Borodai, T. Golembiyevska, V. Gurin, O. Lopukhov, A. Chebykin, L. Pribega, V. Shostya, L. Skorik, I. Shpara, V. Chepelik, M. Krivolapov, M. Storozhenko and others.
     In order to provide successful work of the post-graduate course there exists in the Academy the specialized council on defence of a thesis in such fields as:

     Studying at the post-graduate course is introduced both on the basis of state order and on a contract form.
     After-diploma education in the system of one-year magistracy is being done at the Academy on a contract form in such fields as:
painting;
graphics;
sculpture.
     People who have got higher art education are admitted to magistracy. The program of training includes obligatory educational courses and carrying out and defence of a master's work on speciality.
