International activity of the National Academy of Art and Architecture is carried out in the following directions:
-
training of specialists in the field of art and scientific personnel for foreign countries;

participaton of students in the international art competitions and exhibitions;
-
probation work of the teachers of the Academy at related educational establishments of foreign countries and cooperaton with foreign teachers in the teaching process at the Academy;
-
participation of the teachers of the Academy in international scientific and art exhibitions and conferences.
One of the main directions of international relations of the Academy is training specialists for foreign countries. This work began in the 60-ies and since that time there have been trained more than 250 masters of art: painting, graphics and sculpture for different countries of the world such as: Vietnam, China, Afghanistan, Cuba etc.
Now the Academy is developing international relations with many institutes of the world in such countries as: Belgium, Greece, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Poland and France. The quata of foreign students is increasing every year. Students from China, Germany, Pakistan, USA, Finland study at different faculties of the Academy.
