Was born on 4, October 1934 in Kyiv.
Painter. Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, the member of the National artists Union in Ukraine. Graduated from Kyiv Fine Arts Institute (O. Shovkunenko's studio) in 1953.
The author of sujet pictures on the theme of farm life, psychological and emotional portraits, prefers compositional type of portrait image. The works have delicate colour solution, plastic solution of artistic form.
Works: 'Girls - farm workers' (1959), 'Sorochyntsi' embroideresses' (1961), 'Small sparrows' (1968), 'Harvesting' (1970), 'Natalya with a doll ' (1972), 'Going to school' (1978), 'Home alone' (1990), series of portraits of Ukrainian culture workers.
Has been working in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1959 (the chair of painting and composition), since 1990 - professor. .
