Was born in the village of Shterivka, Luhansk Region on 25, May, 1940.
Sculptor. Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, the Member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine.
Graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture in Kyiv Fine Arts Institute (studied under the leadership of M. Lysenko).
Worked as a sculptor at the painting-sculpture group of enterprises, taught sculpture in Kyiv Art-industrial technical school.
Works in the field of the monumental and easel sculpture, small plastics.
Works: monumental sculpture-relief "Lesya Ukrayinka with characters of her works in Kyiv Russian Drama after Lesya Ukrayinka" (1975), decorative figures for the House of Artists (1979), monumental complex "To the heroes of Partisans' spark" in the Ukrainian Museum of the History of the World War II in Kyiv (1990, as a co-author), the monument to Hetman Petro Konashevych-Sagaidachny in Kyiv (2001), easel sculpture - "Forest song" (1993), "Yaroslav the wise" (1994), "The last apple" (1995), small plastics - collection coin with the image of Solomiya Krushelnytska etc.
Has been working in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture at the chair of sculpture since 1971, since 1987- the chief of the chair of sculpture, since 1993 - the chief of the educational-creative studio of sculpture.
