    Was born in the town of Ambulak, Orenburg Region (the Russian Federation) on 25, April, 1942.
Graphic-placardist. Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, the Member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine. Graduated from Kyiv Fine Arts Institute in 1970. Works in the fields of placard and graphic design. His works are notable for courageous ideas, research and difference in imaginative and compositional solutions. Pays much attention to the creation of a placard on the themes of the national renaissance. Author of publications on the questions of the development of a placard art.
Works: placards "Be happy" (1978), "Grow older!" (1982), "Read again about that glory!" (1988), "We will revive, brothers!" (1990), "Recover your sights, people. It is a high time!" (1991), "Let word be a sword of mine" (1992), "Every day is a shame of us… Taras Shevchenko" (1993), "My land is beautiful, luxurious and rich. Who didn't torment it?.. Taras Shevchenko" (1994), placards to the films "Kachka village" (1977), "Pipers" (1980), "The bad master harms the nature and himself" (1986), "Drop, drop, drop, drop of rain" (1986). Has been teaching in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1970 (the chair of graphic arts). Since 1993 - professor, since 1996 - the chief of chair of graphic arts and the dean of united faculty of fine arts. Since 1988 - the chief of the educational-creative studio of graphic design.
