Was born in the village of Pynchuky, Kyiv Region on 22, May, 1941.
Philosopher, teacher, Ph D, Honoured Education Worker of Ukraine.
Graduated from Shevchenko Kyiv State University in 1969, post-graduate department in the Institute of Philosophy at the Academy of Science in Ukraine in 1977.
Worked as a Chief of the department in the Ministry of High and Secondary Education (1969-1974). Scientist in a field of philosophy, has organizational skills in the field of creation and building modern principles of high education.
Scientific works: "Outlook interpretation of scientific theory" (candidate`s dissertation, 1977), "Forming of the spiritual culture of the students" (1991), the articles on the history of world and Ukrainian philosophy.
Has been working in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1980, since 1996 - professor. In 1989-1992 and since 1996 - the chief of the chair of culture and social - and the humanities sciences. Since 1992 - the Secretary on Science in the Academy.
Works hard on Re-attestation of teachers and professors and methodical provision of training experts in the field of culture and Fine Arts. Took part in the preparation educational programmes and methodical working out in philosophical subjects in post-graduate department. Works in a scientific-methodical commission on art in the Ministry of education and science in Ukraine. Since 2002 - prorector on educational work.
