Danylo Danylovych Lider

 


    Was born in the village of Victorfeld, Rostov Region (the Russian Federation) on 8, May, 1917.
Artist of the theatre. The Full Member of the Academy of Art in Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, the member of the National Artist Union in Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko State Prize Winner, the USSR State Prize Winner.
Graduated from Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture by I.Y.Repin in 1956. Worked in the theaters of Chelyabinsk, Leningrad, as the Chief Artist in Ivan Franko Kyiv Ukrainian Drama Theatre. Is one of the founders of the modern school of the stagegraphy.

Chekhov (1980), "Visit of old lady" by F. Durrenmatt (1983), "Stone`s owner" by lesya Ukraiyinka (1988), "Tevye-Tevel" by Sholom-Aleikhem (1989).
Worked in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture from 1973 till 1980 and has been working at the chair of painting and composition since 1990, since 1992 - professor. The chief of the studio of the theatre decoration art in 1975-1980 and since 1990.
