Was born in Kamyanets - Podilsky, Khmelnytsk Region on 12, April, 1928.
Architect and artist. Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, the member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine, honorary member of the Academy of Architecture in Ukraine.
Graduated from Kyiv Engineering - building Institute in 1959, post - graduate department in the Academy of Architecture in Ukraine in 1959. Teachers - J. Shovkunenko, S. Yerzhykovsky, V. Zabolotny. Taught painting and drawing in Kyiv Engineering - building Institute from 1964 till 1984.
The author of many series of works in which the artistic and aesthetical peculiarities of the monuments of ancient architecture are reflected.
Works: easel series 'Wooden sculpture in Nothern Russia' (in the 1970's), 'The monuments of Lviv architecture' (1960-1980), 'Kyiv', 'Chernigiv', 'The Dnipro' (1950-1990), 'Wooden sculpture in Ukraine' (1989-1990), 'The monuments of Halychyna architecture' (1990), 'The monuments of Crimea architecture' (1993), 'Fortresses in Ukraine' (1994).
Has been teaching painting and drawing at the faculty of architecture in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Since 1989 - professor. Worked out the programme and the book on specificity of teaching drawing and painting at the faculty of architecture.
