Was born in a small town of Pervomaiske (the Crimea) on 18, March, 1939.
Painter. The Full Member of the Academy of Art of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, the Member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine, the Head of Kyiv Branch of the National Artists Union in Ukraine.
Graduated from Kyiv Fine Arts Institute in 1965 (studio of professor K. Trokhymenko), studied in the creative studio in the Academy of Arts in the USSR (under the leadership of S. Grygoryev) in 1968.
Works in the fields of the easel painting. The author of thematic pictures, portraits, still-lives, landscape series. The master with original imaginative thinking, the expert in refined colouring.
Works: "The first spring" (1966), "The self-portrait" (1969), "My mother" (1971), "My night dream. Father" (1973), "Mothers are waiting" (1974), "Flax is in blossom" (1977), "Yaroslavna" (1982), "Six red carnations" (1988), "The impress of the past" (1991), "Mother's varenyky" (1991), "The black sun" (1993), "The stream. Mariya Pryymachenko" (1994), "The silence over the Kozynka River" (1997), "Winter poetry" (1998) etc.
Has been working in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1969, since 1987 - professor, since 1989 - the chief of the chair of painting and composition, since 1993 - the chief of the educational-creative studio of easel painting.
