Was born in Nikolayevsk on Amur (the Russian Federation) on 7, january, 1943.

Graduated from Kyiv Fine Arts Institute (T. Lyashchuk's studio) in 1972.
Works in the field of graphic design, easel graphic and painting. Works are devoted to the actual problems of the present, individual style is notable for imaginative, constantly renovating language.
Works: placards 'Rafael Santi' (1970), 'Grygory Scovoroda' (1972), 'We will build Uspensky Cathedral' (1989), 'Love Ukraine' (1989), '26.04.1986. Has been teaching in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1973 (the chair of drawing), since 1993 - professor, from 1991 till 1994 - dean of graphic and sculpture faculties. .
