Was born in Kurnan Town (the Russian Federation) on 2, January,1942.
Graphic. Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, the Member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine.
Graduated from Kyiv Fine Arts Institute in 1966 (teachers V. Kasiyan and T. Lyashchuk), studied at the creative studio in the Academy of Arts in the USSR (under the leadership of M. Derehus).
Works in the fields of easel and book graphic art, placard. His works have poetic-romantic picturesqueness, expressiveness of a form, associativeness of figurative language, manifestation humanistic pathos etc.
Works: "Zaporizhska Sich" (1968), "Bread" (1969), "Cossak was going after the Danube" (1970), "I. Kotlyarevsky" (1971), "Vicious circle" (1993), "Hetman's portrait" (1994), "Memories about Venice" (1998), "Those who are running" (1998), illustrations to the book by L. Horlach "The night in Vyshgorod" (1982).
Has been teaching in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1970, since 1986 - the chief of the chair of drawing, since 1994 - professor.
