Was born in Kyiv on 26, July, 1945.
Painter, graphic, artist of theatre and cinema. The Member of the National Artists Union in Ukraine. Studied at the All-union State Institute of Cinematography (1963-1971) (the studio of painting under the leadership of Y. Pymenov and the studio of making of animated cartoon under the leadership of I. Ivanov-Vano. Studied at the courses of producers of animated cinema at the same institute. Worked as an artist-producer at Kyiv Film Studio after O. Dovzhenko and an artist-cartoon maker at Kyiv Scientific-popular Films Studio. Since 1993 - the teacher of the chair of cinema producing and dramatic composition at the faculty of cinema in Kyiv Theatre Institute after I. Karpenko-Kary. Works in the fields of the painting, easel graphic, book illustrations and also as an artist of the animated cinema. Works: painting series "Picturesque motifs in Ukraine" (1988-1989); graphic series "Kyiv's reflections" (1978-1990); animated cartoons "Small tiger in a kettle" (1971), "Forest song" (1980); films - "Bumbarash" (1972), "Kings and cabbages" (1978), "Karmelyuk" (1986), "The way of a murder" (1993), "Car cleaners" (1999); serial "Lady Luck" (2000-2001). Has been working as a teacher at the chair of painting in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1991, since 1997 - the chief of the educational-creative studio of the artists of the cinema and television.
